Marquette, MI- The family of Jody Dean Howe, announce his passing with knowledge that God, Dad, Bob, Auntie Mare, and Auntie Betty were with him on his Birthday.

Jody was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on August 9, 1961, a son of Jean Delores (Pelto) and the late James Wesley Howe.

Jody graduated from Westwood High School, class of 1979.  He worked in Tonopah, NV in a mine, the Presque Isle Power Plant in Marquette and most recently at RTI Surgical Inc.

Jody enjoyed hunting, spending time at hunting camp with his father and uncles.  Taking four-wheeler rides with his nephews.  He was always willing to help his family with their projects at their homes.  He was a perfectionist in everything he did.   He is sadly missed by his dog "Hershey", whom he loved very much.  Jody's greeting cards were always caring and thoughtful.  During his dad's illness, Jody was a great comforter and caregiver.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church Champion.

Jody is  survived by his mother Jean Howe of Michigamme,  a brother James (Lori) Howe of Marquette, two sisters, Janice (Mike Kutchie) Perry, of Clarksburg and Julie (Steve) Kallatsa, of Tyrone, GA, along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins that he loved very much.

Jody was preceded in death by his father James Howe, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.

A Private family service will be held.

Just knowing that in countless ways, our family and friends are with us makes this journey easier.
