Ishpeming - Audrey Jean Bergman, age 91, a lifetime Ishpeming resident and more recently a resident of Teal Lake Senior Living Community, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at UP Health System Bell, Ishpeming, with her family at her side.

Audrey was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on April 25,1929, a daughter of the late Albert and Beatrice (Bartle) Boase.  She graduated from Ishpeming High School, Class of 1947. On September 11, 1948, she married Richard "Biv" Bergman and enjoyed more than 60 years of marriage and raised 7 children together.

Over the last 70 plus years, Audrey and her close friends enjoyed their "Club" time together where they solved all the world's problems as well as their own. She was an exceptional bowler, along with her sister Lorraine, in Ishpeming bowling leagues. She also enjoyed traveling and time spent with her sisters Shirley and Mary. Audrey enjoyed knitting, reading, and crossword puzzles but mostly she enjoyed following her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in all their sports and activities.  She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and was involved with the United Methodist Women and pasty making.

Audrey is survived by 2 daughters: Bonnie (Robert "Shakers") Jacobson of St. Petersburg, FL, and Bobbi Jo (Douglas) Anderson of Green Bay, 5 sons; Richard "Bugs" (Susan) Bergman, Randy (Cheryl) Bergman, Ronald (Carol) Bergman, Roger (Joanne) Bergman, of Ishpeming; and Rob (Milissa) Bergman of Green Bay, 2 sisters; Mary Moore of Ishpeming and Shirley (Francis) Wills of Iron River, MI, 14 Grandchildren: Dan Bergman, Michael (Kathryn) Bergman, Adam (Krystal Foster) Bergman, Ryan (Kristine) Bergman, Chelsee (Josh) Bal, Jenna (Dan) Hendrickson, Jeffrey (Amanda) Jacobson, Jodi (Andy) Eliason, Lyndsey Bergman, Hailey Bergman, Jennifer (Will Plucker) Anderson, Justin Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Jillian Anderson, 5 step grandchildren:  Michelle (Scott) Herzog, Anthony (Jen) Lenten, Michael (Linda) Lenten, Amy Lenten, Angela (Jim) Richer, 15 great grandchildren, 16 step great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard, and sister Lorraine Connors.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 pm on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Ishpeming with the service immediately following with Pastor Matthew Osborne officiating.

Pallbearers will be Audrey's grandsons. Interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic all those attending must adhere to the wearing of a mask and the current social distancing standards.
