Ishpeming- William John Koski, age 90, lifelong Ishpeming resident, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Marquette County Medical Care Facility.

William was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on May 21, 1931, a son of the late John and Hilma (Ruhkala) Koski.  Bill worked for Cleveland Cliff's for 42 years, retiring in 1992.

Bill enjoyed gardening and spending many winters in Florida.  He was a member of the Ishpeming ELK's Lodge, and member of the former Junction Club serving as its treasurer for many years.

Bill is survived by a son Bill D. Koski of Ishpeming, a stepdaughter Joanne Garceau of Flushing, MI, grandchildren: Amy (Jason) Arseneau and Barbie (Kurt) Kaleva, 9 great grandchildren, a niece, Diane (Doug) Collar and a nephew Bob (Gloria) Koski.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Barbara, grandson Scott LeClair, 2 sisters: Esther Mustonen, and Tyne Frustaglio, and daughter in law Linda Koski.

Funeral services for Bill will be private.

Interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
