Obituary
Ishpeming Twp. - William Paul Kaupppinen, age 74 of 840 Patriot St. Ishpeming (North Lake Location) passed away Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility.
William was born February 26, 1937 in Ishpeming to Veikko & Helea (Parviainen) Kauppinen. Bill graduated from Powell County High School in Deer Lodge, MT and attended Michigan Tech for 1 year. Bill spent 22 years in the United State Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant.
Bill is survived by a brother: Robert (Marie) Kauppinen of Wausau, WI, nieces and nephews: Tim Kauppinen, Tara Liesenfelder, Michael Whalen, John Whalen and Kathy Whalen along with grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
