Champion- William Howard "Bill" Elleby, 43 of Champion passed away Friday November 21at the Bell Hospital Emergency Department.

Bill was born January 12, 1965 at Bell Memorial Hospital. Bill served 3 years in the United States Army, honorably discharged in 1987.

Bill is survived by his wife of 6 years Roberta (Nurmela) Elleby whom he married in 2002. Bill is also survived by 4 children, Jessica Ann (Cordes) Elleby, Jack Allen Elleby, Olivia Marie Nurmela and Dale Anthony Kozel. Bill also had a grandson, David Joseph Cordes.
He is also survived by his brothers and sisters; Daniel (Kathy) Manier, Dianne (Wayne) Kangas, Debra (Daniel) Nurmela, David Manier, Duane (Lori) Manier, Harry (Sue) Manier, and Jackie (Ronald) Skytta. His Mothers in-law Mary Seppala and Paulette Wells, Father in-law Robert Nurmela, Brothers and Sisters in-law Dean (Sara) Nurmela, Courtney (Erik) Johnson, Jackson Wells and Holly Wells and many nieces and nephews who he dearly loved.

Billy loved to hunt and fish, spend time at camp with special friends, but most importantly spend time with his family. Bill was selfless in that he always had time to help others, and went out of his way to do so.

Bills sense of humor and positive attitude was a source of uplifting and encouragement to all that knew him. His generous gift of life donation will help many, providing hope and comfort to others, and to his family. He will be sorely missed. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Jack & Irene Elleby
