Ishpeming, MI - Wayne W. Talus, age 80, a longtime resident of Ishpeming, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 28, 2025, at UP Health System Bell in Ishpeming.

Wayne was born in Hancock, Michigan, on January 31, 1945, a son of the late Elma I. (Kangas) and Wayne A. Talus. He was a graduate of Ishpeming High School and went on to attend Michigan Technological University. During his high school years, Wayne was proud to play on the basketball team and remained a quiet and steady presence, known for his tall stature and reserved nature.

Wayne will be remembered for his gentle spirit and the quiet dignity with which he lived his life.

A private interment will take place at Northland Chapel Gardens.
