Ishpeming- Virginia Mae Anderson, age 95 of 331 Carp St. Ishpeming, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Norlite Nursing Center where she been a resident since August 2010.

Virginia was born July 30, 1915 in Negaunee to James & Caroline (Andreason) Conradson. She graduated from Negaunee High School, class of 1933 and was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Ishpeming. Virginia enjoyed cooking, baking, reading and knitting. She also was always very interested in her grandchildren's and great grandchildren's activities.

Virginia is survived by two children; Karen (James) Jordan of Neenah, WI and Peter (Anne) Anderson of Jackson, MI, a sister Betty (Jack) Menhennick of Marquette, 5 grandchildren; James (Nancy) Jordan of Weston, WI, David (Mary) Jordan of Mosinee, WI, Michael (Leigh) Jordan of Oconomowoc, WI, Sheila Anderson of Chicago, IL and Terry (Julie) Anderson of Jackson, MI, 10 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews including a special niece Susan Menhennick of Marquette. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Rudolph, 2 brothers; Gordon and Leslie Conradson and 2 sisters; Dorothy Jacka and Jessie Verheyen.

Funeral service and visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Bethel Lutheran Church, visitation from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am with Rev. Lauri O. Maki officiating.

Interment will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Virginia's grandchildren.
