Ishpeming, MI- Vickie Lynn Skaggs, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Mission Point Nursing & Physical Rehabilitation Center of Ishpeming.

Vickie was born in Grant, MI on September 18, 1959, a daughter of the late Nylan L. and Betty L. (Castle) Johnson. She worked for Grand Rapids Spring and Stamping.

Vickie enjoyed a good bonfire, socializing with friends, and playing darts. She loved the tropical weather, living in Florida on two separate occasions. Mostly she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Vickie is survived by two daughters, Jaclyn Nelson, and Lindsey Skaggs, five grandchildren: Jesse, Julien, Maelynn, Arkhya, Justice, four sisters, Gail Keech, Connie Johnson, Tracy Johnson, Dana Johnson a brother, Gary (Judy) Johnson, a half-sister, Jame (Robert) Dean a half-brother, Scott Johnson along with numerous nieces, and nephews.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers: Ritchie Johnson, and Steven Johnson.

Honoring Vickie wishes, cremation will take place, a private service will be held at a later date.
