Negaunee- Trevor Scott Tervo, age 17 of 405 Cherry St. Negaunee, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at his home.

Trevor was born on August 3, 1994 in Sterling, IL to Robert & Rebecca (Larson) Tervo. At a young age Trevor's family moved to Negaunee, where Trevor was a student in the Negaunee Public Schools. He currently was a junior at the Negaunee High School where he participated on the high school Golf Team and the Ishpeming-Negaunee Bowling Team and was a National Honors Society Member. Trevor loved roller coasters, reading, music, playing the piano and guitar and dreamed of being a song writer some day. He also enjoyed writing poetry. He was a member of the Apostolic Lutheran Church of Ishpeming.

Trevor is survived by his parents Rob & Rebecca Tervo of Negaunee, a brother Dylan Tervo, 2 sisters: Kendra & Annika Tervo all of Negaunee, his maternal grandparents: Donald & Donna Larson of Houghton, paternal grandparents Kenneth & Esther Tervo of Chassell, maternal great grandmother Lillian Salonen of Iron River, maternal great grandfather Rudolph Larson of Hancock, aunts & uncles: Dan Larson, Scott (Christy) Larson, Amy (Ben) Rousu, Jim (Chris) Tervo, Carol (Gary) Saari, Judy (Steve) Szyszkoski and Rick (Naomi) Tervo along with numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. Trevor was preceded in death by an uncle Darin Larson.

Funeral services for Trevor will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Apostolic Lutheran Church, 1700 US Hwy 41 W. Ishpeming Twp with Roger Kangas officiating.

The family will receive friend and relatives at the Apostolic Lutheran Church on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00PM and again on Thursday from 9:30AM until the time of service at 11:00AM.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Tervo, Storm Juntti, Andy Honkala, Robert Honkala, Kyle Riutta, Jake Kari, Jake Paul and Brady Skewis
