Oak Creek, WI - Todd Douglas Kari, age 54, passed away on Monday November 1 ^st , 2021, in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.

Todd was born on May 3 ^rd , 1967, in Ishpeming, Michigan to Faye (Millimaki) and the late Dale Kari. He grew up in the Green Creek area and graduated from Westwood High School. After high school graduation in 1985, Todd enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He married Nadine Leonard on November 8, 1986, in Ishpeming, Michigan. During his time in the Air Force, he worked as a crew chief and was stationed at multiple bases throughout the Midwest, where his sons were born. During his service Todd was deployed for Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Southern Watch, as well as the Kosovo Conflict. Todd retired and was honorably discharged as a Master Sergeant in 2005 after 20 years of service and moved back to the UP to raise his family closer to home. While he lived many places throughout the Midwest, the Upper Peninsula was always home.

Back in the UP Todd worked for American Eagle, Cleveland Cliffs Incorporated, and WE Energies. When the WE Energies power plant in Marquette closed, Todd continued working for WE Energies in Oak Creek, WI. Todd enjoyed spending his free time relaxing at the family camp on Little Perch Lake. He also liked traveling to visit his sons and girlfriend, four wheeling, hanging out with his friends in "Gus' Garage", and was a lifelong fan of the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings.

Todd is survived by his mother Faye Sangala of Ishpeming, MI, his sons Joseph (Lydia) Kari of Arlington, VA and Jacob (Morgan) Kari of Houghton, MI, former wife Nadine Blixt of Hibbing, MN, long term girlfriend Sherrie Culvahouse of Rock, MI, aunts and uncles Nancy (Kim) Mallett and Douglas (Elaine) Kari of Ishpeming, MI, cousins Chad Collins, Kristin (Shawn) Thornton, Kevin (Maria) Millimaki, Keith (Tammy) Millimaki, and Lisa Treece.

Todd is preceded in death by his father Dale Kari, stepfather Donald Sangala, paternal grandparents Andrew and Helen Kari, maternal grandparents Alfred and Esther Millimaki, uncle Jack Millimaki, and cousin Eric Collins.
