Ishpeming – Todd G. Dugan, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 14, 2014 at his home in Ishpeming.
Todd was born May 11, 1962 in Madison, WI to the late Eugene P. and Dorothy J. (Taylor) Dugan. He was a graduate of the Monona Grove High School, Class of 1980. Todd entered the United States Air Force in 1982, being stationed at K.I. Sawyer for the main part of his enlistment, but had also been in Saudi Arabia for some time. He was honorably discharged in 1988 from the Air Force but remained in the Ishpeming area to raise his family. Todd had worked many different jobs including as a yard foreman for 41 lumber and Wicks lumber and most recently had worked as a parts supervisor for Fabco.
Todd was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying deer, turkey and duck hunting, along with camping, fishing and four-wheeling. He had coached little league baseball in Ishpeming when his son Shane was playing, and also enjoyed to watch him wrestle during his high school years.
Survivors include 3 children – Loretta (Dan) Willey, Shane (Casey) Dugan and Mary Rose Dugan all of Ishpeming, 3 granddaughters – Jaylyn and Lyla Willey and Irie Dugan, 3 sisters – Donna (Kendall) Uphoff of Cottage Grove, WI, Jane (Ken) Berg and Becky Bazan both of Monona, WI, a brother Dan (Carol) Dugan of Madison, WI, a sister-in-law Char Dugan of McFarland, WI, his former wife Sarah Dugan and former mother-in-law Teresa Bertucci both of Ishpeming, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Pat Dugan.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00am – 1:00pm on Friday November 21, 2014 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming. A memorial service will follow at 1:00pm on Friday with the Rev. Fr. Larry Van Damme to officiate. Military Honors will be accorded by the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter #380. A luncheon will follow the services in the K.D. Hall at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
