Ishpeming - Theresa C. Palomaki, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the Marquette Count Medical Facility while surrounded by her loving family.

Theresa was born in Marquette on June 24, 1925, daughter of the late Mercedes (Bourgeois) and Dominic Dallas. She grew up in Marquette and graduated from the J.D. Pierce High School.  She married Calvin Palomaki and spent 59 years together raising their four children in Ishpeming. Theresa had been an active member of the St. Pius X Catholic Church where she served with the Altar Society / Women's Auxiliary and was a current member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Theresa took pride in being a homemaker/care provider for her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored.

Theresa is survived by a daughter Julie (Brian) Maki of Ishpeming; two sons - Wayne (Sherry) Palomaki of Green Bay, WI; Bruce (Michele) Palomaki of Isle, MN; Daughter-in-law Sharon Morcom.  7 grandchildren - Teri (Jon) Koski, Jeff (Tristan) Palomaki, Sheri (Chad) Hewitt, Traci (Adam) Michaud, Christina (John) Rader, Jason Palomaki, Jacob Palomaki, 2 step-grandchildren - Russell (Kelly) Aho, Jr and Steven Aho, numerous great grandchildren including Caitlin Hewitt who was the apple of her eye. She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Palomaki, son Keith Palomaki, and step-granddaughter Tina Aho.

Per Theresa's wishes, interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery with a private graveside service to be held in the spring.
