Ishpeming- Theresa C. Carlson, age 91 of 2013 Jackson Ave. Ishpeming passed away Wednesday August 10, 2016 at UP Health System Marquette with her family at her side.

Theresa was born April 12, 1925 in Ishpeming to Pietro & Rose (Umbrello) Frustaglio. Theresa was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she sang in the choir and was active in the Womens' Guild. She belonged to the Tomahawk Bowman Club where she competed in archery competitions.

Theresa is survived by her husband Edwin Carlson, whom she married on November 30, 1946, a son Daniel Carlson of Ishpeming, a sister Concetta Maki of Ishpeming, a brother Vito (Marion) Frustaglio of Greenwood Location, sister in law Esther Ketola of Gwinn, daughter in law Carolyn (Joseph) Beauchaine of Marquette, 4 grandchildren Patrick Carlson, Amy Carlson, Andrea (Michael) Juchemich, Erin (Tyler) Gauthier, 11 great grandchildren Tyler, Alyssa, Riley, Kacey, Cole, Alexis, & Deven Carlson, Eliana, Drew & David Juchemich, Braxton Gauthier and one great grandchild expected in November, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, a son David "D.J." Carlson, brothers Peter, Philip, Anthony and Dominic Frustaglio and sisters Katherine Sarras, Mary George and Stella Poirier.

Honoring Theresa's wishes there will be no public service.
