Ishpeming- Terrence James "T.J." Lyons, age 46 went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 as a result from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Terrence was born August 7, 1965 at the USAFA in Colorado Springs, CO to Gary & Kathy (Merrila) Lyons. TJ was a graduate of Marquette Senior High School, class of 1984 and received a bachelor's degree in Communication from Northern Michigan University.

TJ worked for Time Life Warner in Seattle, Washington and worked locally at Big Boy Restaurant, The Landmark and was currently working at Jeffrey's Restaurant. TJ was a Star Trek fanatic. He will be missed by his faithful companion "Miss Lilly".

TJ was the beloved son of Kathy & Gary Lyons of Marquette, & grandson of Mildred Merrila of Ishpeming. TJ also leaves behind his foster sister Geri Lynne (Wally) Blumenstein of Mosinee, WI and many cousins. TJ was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Emil E. Merrila and paternal grandparents Melvin J. & Thelma M. Lyons.

A Celebration of TJ's life will be held at 12:00noon on Saturday, March 24th at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1700 W. Fair Ave Marquette with Rev. Steve Hulke officiating.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00noon.

A luncheon will be held following the service in the church fellowship hall.

Pallbearers will be Dave Olson, Wally Blumenstein, Wayne Lehto, Dave Klumb, Jim Klumb, and Pat Bower.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Nick & Merlen Borgialli, Phillip Young and Jon Truscott.
