Obituary

Republic – Teresa M. "Tweets" (Trudell) Stahl, age 44 of 191 Cedar St. Republic passed away on Saturday April 14, 2007 at the Bell Memorial Hospital in Ishpeming where she had been admitted earlier in the day.

Teresa was born May 14, 1962 in Ishpeming the daughter of Clifford B. and Ann T. (Salo) Trudell. Teresa was a graduate of the Westwood High School, Class of 1982 of which she was class president. "Tweets" worked as a clerk at the Country Market in National Mine for nearly 30 years, then at Republic Foods and most recently she did seasonal carpentry work on local Log Cabins.

In her early years Tweets won many trophies and ribbons through her involvement with the 4-H club while raising cattle. Teresa enjoyed the outdoors, including going on walks, camping, fishing and cross country skiing. She loved her dogs – Lady and Zipper. Her specialty was cooking and she will be remembered as "one great cook". Her activities included playing in the West Marquette County Pool League and horseshoes with the Wayside. Tweets always thought of others, recently donating her hair to Locks of Love, and in her death was an organ donor.

Survivors include her husband Patrick Stahl of Republic, whom she married Oct. 10, 1997; her step-daughter Kara DuPont of Marquette; grandsons – Alex and Gabe DuPont of Marquette; her parents Clifford and Ann Trudell of National Mine, her grandmother Ann McCarthy of Ishpeming; her mother-in-law Patricia Stahl of Ishpeming; a sister Nancy (Lennie) Armatta of Salt Lake City, UT; 3 brothers – Douglas Trudell of National Mine, Paul (Lauri) Trudell of Rock Springs, WI and Scott (Stephenie) Trudell of Juneau, WI; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law – Robin (Tom) Heikkila, Julie (Steve) McCoy, Diane (John) Hytinen, Ted (Donna) Stahl, Danny (Sandy) Stahl and David (Cheryl) Stahl; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming from 9:00 until 11:00am on Wednesday March 18, 2007 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with the Rev. Fr. James Challancin to officiate.

Pallbearers will be Doug Trudell, Paul Trudell, Scott Trudell, Tom Heikkila, Steve McCoy and David Stahl.
