Obituary
Republic- Tammy R. Martin, age 58 of 453 Republic Ave, Republic passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at UP Health System Marquette.
Tammy was born January 17, 1958 in Ishpeming to Warren & Julia (Heinonen) Granlund. She graduated from Republic High School, class of 1976 and attended N.M.U. Tammy worked as a manager of an Arby's in Williamstown, KY, before moving back to the U.P. Tammy was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church of Republic. She was a good housekeeper, enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Tammy is survived by her husband Brian Martin, 2 sons: Travis Martin of West DesMoines, IA, and Joshua Martin of Republic, a sister Karen (Jim) Hoffbauer of Republic, a niece Heidi (Jay), and nephew Brett. Tammy was preceded in death by her parents Warren & Julia Granlund and a brother Terry Granlund.
A memorial service for Tammy will be held at 2 PM Monday August 1, 2016 at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Republic with Rev. Kevin Kaiser officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service.
