Ishpeming- Sue H. Tasson, age 85, longtime Ishpeming resident, passed away on Saturday December 21, 2019 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility while in the loving care of her family and nursing home staff.

Sue was born in Ishpeming on August 11, 1934, daughter of the late William and Muriel (Ryan) Pascoe. She graduated from Ishpeming High School class of 1952. Sue married Martin Tasson on February 27, 1954. She worked as a secretary for Cohodas Produce.

Sue was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, she enjoyed music, baking, clothes, jewelry, and dancing in her younger years. Taking care of her children meant the world to Sue.

Sue is survived by her husband of 66 years- Martin "Gabby" Tasson, 2 children- Greg and Bridget Tasson, 2 sisters- Mary Lou Delourensi and Roberta (Glenn) Sjoholm, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister- Sandy Hatch, an infant sister and nephew Shay Sjoholm.

Sue's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at MCMCF for the wonderful care they gave to Sue.

Sue's family will greet relatives and friends at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ishpeming from 10:00am until 11:00am on Friday December 27, 2019. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Ryan Ford Celebrating. Following the Mass there will be a luncheon held in the K/D Hall. Interment will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.
