Ishpeming- Sue Lynne Morton, age 78 former Ishpeming and Manistique resident passed away Friday October 12, 2018 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility in Ishpeming while in the loving care of her family, UP Home Health and Hospice, staff at MCMCF.

Sue was born February 11, 1940 in Romeo, MI to the late Bernard and Margaret Grace.  She graduated from Romeo High School and attended Cleary University.  Sue and her family lived in many locations throughout her life, with many years spent in Ishpeming.  Later in life she and her late husband Richard spent summers in Manistique at Indian Lakes campground and wintered in Janesville, MN.

Sue enjoyed traveling and camping, was an excellent cook and baker and looked forward to hosting holidays for her family.  She always put others before herself, but number 1 priority in her life was her family, especially her kids and grandkids.  Sue also had a love for animals.

Sue is survived by 3 children: Steve Graphos of Fort Myers, FL, Michael (Wendy) Morton of Janesville, MN and David (Sueann) Morton of Ishpeming, 3 brothers: William (Nancy) Grace of Charlotte, MI, Robert (Sandy) Grace of Manistique and David Grace of Republic, 9 grandchildren: Steven and Justin Graphos, Connor, Callie and Kylie Morton, Mariel, Owen, Emily and Addison Morton along with numerous nieces and nephews.  Sue was preceded in death by her husband Richard Morton.

Sue's family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00-5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming where funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM with Pastor Matthew Osborn to officiate.

Interment will take place in the Fairview Cemetery in Manistique.
