Steven J. Marra, age 57, Ishpeming resident passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at UP Health System Marquette, surrounded by family, where he had been a patient for the past 7 days.

Steve "Weaver" was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on November 19, 1963, a son of the late Frank and Mae (Paquette) Marra.  He graduated from Ishpeming High School.

Steve worked for an asphalt road construction company.  He was an avid sports fan; his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys.  Steve enjoyed cooking and will be sadly missed by his cat, "Kitty".

Steve is survived by 3 sisters: Jeanette (Bernie) Senske, Jackie Marra and Cathy Marra all of Ishpeming, sister-in-laws: Judy Marra and Mary Paulson, nieces: Lisa Ruby, Brenda (Mark) Clements, Amy (Ed) Broxterman and Kimberly (Chad) Kakkuri, along with numerous great nieces, great nephews and cousins.  Steve was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Jim and Fran Marra and a sister JoAnn Marra.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  Inurnment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
