Humboldt/ Richland, MI- Stephen "Moe" Koski, age 67 of 6254 N. 37th St. Richland, MI and longtime Humboldt resident, passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Family Living AFC Home in Richland.
Stephen was born November 12, 1943 in Negaunee to William G. & Edna M. (Maki) Koski. He attended the Champion School. Moe was an avid Green Bay Packer fan; he enjoyed throwing horseshoes and slow pitch softball and attending sporting events. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Moe is survived by 2 brothers Peter (Jacqueline) Koski of Humboldt and William (Diane) Koski of Gwinn, 9 nieces and nephews: Peter Koski Jr., Jon (Teri) Koski, Kevin (Heidi) Koski, William Koski, Tony (Sandra) Koski, Katie (fiancé Adam Manfredo) Koski, Jared (Jenny) Frisk, Joel (Cheryl Wooten) Frisk and Jessica (Chad Toupin) Frisk, along with 10 great nieces and nephews. Moe was preceded in death by his parents William and Edna, a sister Maria Frisk and a great nephew Carson Koski.
A memorial service & visitation will be on Monday August 1, 2011 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming with a greeting from 5:00pm until the time of service at 6:00pm.
A luncheon will be held at the 41 Steakhouse following the service.
