Ishpeming, MI- Stephen D. Emanuelson, 69, longtime Ishpeming resident, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Medilodge of Munising.

Stephen was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on December 22, 1954, a son of the late Dennis C. and Marilyn E. (Brown) Emanuelson.

Steve worked for Cleveland Cliffs Iron Company as welder at the Tilden Mine. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Steve is survived by a sister Julie (Terry Bartle) Emanuelson of Ishpeming, three brothers: Mark Emanuelson of Mills, WY, David Emanuelson of Skandia, Eric Emanuelson of Geneva, IL, and an Aunt Judy Martin of Ishpeming along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents Dennis and Marilyn, two brothers: Brian and Keith Emanuelson, and a sister Cheryl Emanuelson.

Honoring Steve's wishes, cremation will take place, and a private service will be held at a later date.
