Obituary
Ishpeming- Stella Maria Reidy, age 53 Ishpeming resident, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at her home in Ishpeming.
Stella was born November 12, 1955 in Marquette to the late Joseph & Mary (Sarvello) Reidy. Stella graduated from Ishpeming High School, class of 1974. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, making them laugh. She also enjoyed going to her churches, where she was a past member of the Victory Lutheran Church- K.I. Sawyer and currently a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Ishpeming.
Stella is survived by 2 children: Justin Germain of Green Bay, WI and his daughter Cheyenne K. Germain, a daughter Mary E. (Marc) LaPoint of Gwinn, a sister Susan (Ivan) Bernard of Gwinn, a brother Thomas (Diane) Reidy of Ishpeming along with numerous nieces and nephews. Stella was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Michael Reidy, March 11, 2009.
A memorial service for Stella will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the Bible Baptist Church in Ishpeming with Rev. James Hill to officiate. The family will greet friends and relatives at the Bible Baptist Church from 6:00PM until the time of service at 7:00PM.
