Ishpeming, MI- Stanley Reino Lummukka, age 80, Ishpeming resident passed away at his home on Thursday, July 9, 2020.

Stanley was born in West Ishpeming on January 13, 1940, a son of the late Vieno M. (Ojala) and Emil Lummukka.  He graduated from National Mine High School, class of 1959 and served his country in the U.S. Army.

Stan worked as a machine operator for Allis-Chalmers in West Allis, WI, later for Pepin-Irreco in National Mine.  In his younger years he enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting and working on his cars.

Stan is survived by four sisters, Gloria Maki, of Marquette, Loretta (Brian) Niemi, of Michigamme, Hazel Burling, of Marquette; Linda (Peter) Bleich, of Fort Collins, CO; and a brother, Marvin E. (Alice) Lummukka, of Negaunee along with several nieces and nephews.  Stan was preceded in death by his parents and a baby brother Richard.

A private graveside service will be held at the Ishpeming Cemetery with Rev. Lauri O. Maki officiating.
