Obituary
Ishpeming - Stanley Roy Emard, age 66, passed away Saturday, May 9th, 2015 at UP Health System Bell in Ishpeming following an apparent heart attack.
Stanley was born June, 15, 1948 to Lucille (McNally) and Howard Emard in Marquette, MI. He married Judith Mae (Hietikko) in 1966. He was a retired Butcher of over 40 years and loved his career and customers. He was fondly referred to as "Stan the Meat Man". Stan had just moved back to the Upper Peninsula (U.P.) of MI for the 3rd time in his life. It was in the U.P. where he was born and raised. The U.P. was home.
He is survived by his daughter Michelle (1967) and son Spencer (1972), 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 1 great granddaughter all of MI, 6 brothers, 5 sisters and hundreds more family members located all over the US and abroad.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife in 1990 and his brother Howard in 1991.
He will be laid to rest next to his wife and brother in Cherry Grove Cemetery – Cadillac, MI. There will be no services.
