Ishpeming- Shirley Ann Mannila, age 65, of Ishpeming entered eternal life Saturday, May 22, 2021 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Appleton, Wisconsin following a brief illness.

Shirley was born November 11, 1955 to the late Edward Mannila and the late Virginia (Fortin) Mannila. She grew up in Ishpeming where she attended school graduating from Ishpeming High School in 1974. Shirley attended Northern Michigan University and graduated with a clerical degree. Shirley belonged to the Ishpeming Women's Pool League for many years.

Nothing gave her greater pleasure than spending time with family and friends. Shirley was a giver. There were no strangers in Shirley's eyes. She only saw the good in everyone.

She leaves behind her beloved son Pete, 2 stepsons Bill and Harley, brothers Edward (Debbie) and Scott (Cajsa). sister Lois (Ray), stepsisters Becky (Wayne) and Gail (Dean), sister-in-law Stephanie Granddaughter Netanya, Great grandson Aiden. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. She equally adored each and everyone of them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Raymond and nephew Adam.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
