Ishpeming- M. Shirley Langsford, age 91, longtime area resident, passed away on Monday November 8, 2021 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility while in the loving care of her family, and nursing home staff.

Shirley was born in Ishpeming on April 21, 1930, daughter of the late Carl and Mildred (Gullackson) Peterson. She attended Ishpeming High School, graduating with the class of 1948. Shirley loved her flower gardens, and attending happy hour.

Shirley is survived by 2 children- Cathy (Michael) Cardone, Larry Langsford, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Earl Langsford, 3 sons- Scott, Kurt, and Jan Langsford, brother- Carl, and sisters- Ruth and Helen.

Honoring Shirley's wishes, a private graveside service will be held at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
