Obituary
Ishpeming- Sheila G. Mock, 84 formerly of Negaunee, MI went to sleep in the arms of Jesus Thursday evening, July 28, 2016 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility, Ishpeming, MI with her son and daughter in-law right by her side.
She was born in Ypsilanti, MI to Dale and Eleanor Stump on March 26, 1932. She left high school to care for her 4 younger brothers and sisters allowing her mother to work as a nurse. She married Russel C. Mock September 8, 1951 in Ann Arbor, MI.
Mrs. Mock obtained a license in Cosmetology in 1949, and LPN license in 1970, she also had a CDL and drove semis with her husband and drove a school bus in Gibsonburg, Ohio for over 15 years.
Sheila was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Russel C. Mock and one of her sisters, Beverly Ferri. Survivors include her only child Russel (Glenda) E. Mock, 4 grandchildren 6 great grand children, a sister Ardis Schnieder, 2 brothers Dale Raymond,Jr., and Allan Stump and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home on Friday August 5, 2016 with visitation at 10 am, services at 11am with a luncheon at noon at the Marquette Seventh-day Adventist Church. 475-4488.
