Ishpeming – Sheila M. Jannausch, age 62, of 217 N. Lake St., Ishpeming passed away on Friday March 13, 2009 at the Marquette General Hospital following a brief battle with cancer.


Sheila was born August 24, 1946 in Ishpeming the daughter of the late Robert J. and Mary Jane (Thibodeau) Anderson. She was a graduate of the Ishpeming High School, Class of 1964. Sheila worked as the manager at the St. Vincent de Paul store in Ishpeming for 17 years and then as a customer service associate at Target in Marquette for the past two years.


Sheila was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, especially on the Debbie Tours with New York City and Disney as favorite destinations.


Survivors include a daughter Melissa (Dan) Murphy of Ishpeming, a son Bill (Amy) Jannausch of Ishpeming, a sister Peg (Paul) Korpi of Ishpeming, a brother Mike (Claudia) Anderson of Medford, OR, 5 grandchildren – Megan, Devin, Kylee, Taylor, & Ty, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Saturday March 21, 2009 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, where a Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00pm with the Rev. Fr. Greg Heikkala to officiate. Cooffee and bars will be served in the church hall following the Mass.
