Ishpeming - Sharon Jean Anderson, age 74, of 211 N. Third St. Ishpeming, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at her home in Ishpeming.

Sharon was born in Gwinn, MI on November 1, 1945 daughter of the late Emma (Furaitar) and Jerry Westman. She grew up in Humboldt Twp., and was a graduate of the Ishpeming High School through their night school classes. Sharon worked in the housekeeping dept. at the Eastwood Nursing Home in Negaunee for 10 years and had worked at McDonald's, Round the Clock Mini Mart, and the Gossard Outlet all in Ishpeming.  Sharon was an active member of the AMVET's post #122 ladies auxiliary.  She enjoyed Bingo and Camping.  Her family and especially her grandchildren were most dear to her.

Sharon is survived by a daughter Tami J. (Anton) Bachmann of Ishpeming; two sons - Ronald S. Anderson of Ishpeming and Jerry A. (Yvonne) Anderson of Sterling Heights, grandchildren - Cody (Sydni), Hunter, Alyssa, Kelsey, Brandon, Zachary, Christina, Courtney along with several nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and her 13 siblings.

Sharon's family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Ishpeming where a Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. Lauri O. Maki officiating.  Luncheon will follow the services in the church hall.
