Ishpeming- Shari Lee Rowe, age 70, of  N. 2nd St. Ishpeming, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Spectrum Health- Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids.

Shari was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on May 7, 1950, a daughter of the late Gerald E. and Shirley M. (Penhale) Gauthier.  She was a graduate of the Ishpeming High School.

Shari worked as a dental assistant and as a dental office manager for many years retiring from Wright Street Dental.  She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with her friends.

Shari is survived by her fiancé Richard LaForest, a son Cory Rowe of Ishpeming, 2 brothers: Brett (Karen) Gauthier of Richmond, VA, and Lance (Diane) Gauthier of Ishpeming, a sister Staci (Jeffery) Spencer of Ishpeming, nieces, and nephews: Aimee (Johnny) Ockenfels, Heather, Brandon, Kaitlin, Jason (Becky), Tyler (Erin), Zach (Meg), Kelsi Gauthier, Dustin and Dylan Spencer, along with great nieces and great nephews.

Shari was preceded in death by her Parents, a son Shawn Rowe, and a brother Scott Gauthier.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon on Friday May 7, 2021.  Funeral service will be private for the family.

Burial will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
