National Mine-Sandra M. LeClair, age 57 of 135 Co. Rd. PBO Ishpeming (National Mine) passed away unexpectedly on Sunday March 15, 2015.
Sandy was born June 4, 1957 in Ishpeming to the late Fredrick & Betty (Girard) Alderton. Sandy worked at Ralph's Deli in Ishpeming for 16 years.
Sandy enjoyed traveling in their motor home, going on 4-wheel rides, playing BINGO, throwing horseshoes and playing pool and golfing. She belonged to the Tilden Club.
Sandy is survived by her husband Greg "Goober" LeClair, whom she married on March 8, 1975, a son David (Jessica) LeClair of Ishpeming, grandchildren: Hunter & Tara LeClair, Ryan & Jason Dunquist, a brother Barry Alderton of Ishpeming, step sister Marcia (Rich) Fraser of Ishpeming, step brothers: Fred Vanlueven of National Mine, Mike Alderson of National Mine, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A time for family and friends to gather will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming from 5:00-7:00 PM.
