Obituary
Ishpeming- Russell W. Argall, age 69, of 111 Bluff St. Ishpeming, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans where he resided for the past 2 weeks.
Russell was born September 25, 1942 to Russell R. & Violet (Polkinghorn) Argall. Russ graduated from Ishpeming High School, class of 1960 and attended Northern Michigan University. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, being stationed on the USS Oklahoma.
Russ worked for the US Department of Labor as a Mine Inspector, retiring in 2005. He enjoyed sports, especially watching NASCAR races.
Russ is survived by his daughter Rusty Lynn (Chris) Sherlock of Friday Harbor, WA, his friends Bonnie Pelto of Green Bay and his step daughter Kelly Pelto of Ishpeming, her mother Jo Ann Argall of Ishpeming, along with many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Russell & Violet.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the chapel at DJ Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette with Hank Steede officiating.
The family will greet friends on Tuesday at the Jacobetti Home for Veterans from 1:00-2:00PM.
A gathering for family and friends will be held at the Paradise Bar in Ishpeming following the memorial service.
