Obituary
Franksville, WI- Ruby Mae Mitchell, age 67 of Franksville passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 17, 2009 at the Marquette General Hospital in Marquette, Michigan.
Ruby was born September 6, 1941 in Stambaugh, Michigan to the late Eli & Thelma (Tucker) Heikkila. She graduated from Iron River High School, class of 1960. Ruby and her husband lived in the Racine, Wisconsin area for many years. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting and was a warm and loving person who loved life.
Ruby is survived by her husband Dennis Mitchell, whom she married March 30, 1968 a brother Thomas (Ginny) Heikkila of Iron River, a nephew Michael, nieces Michelle and Brandi, a special friend Sandy, numerous cousins and family in the Iron River area and brother Eli.
A graveside service will be held 1:00PM e.s.t. Thursday June 4, 2009 at the Ishpeming Cemetery, Ishpeming, Michigan with Rev. Lauri O. Maki officiating.
