Ishpeming Twp., MI - Rosemary V. Williams, age 84, of 315 Lawrence Ave. Ishpeming Twp., passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the Trillium Hospice House in Marquette.

Rosemary was born in Negaunee, MI on September 14, 1939, a daughter of the late Irma (Bombagi) and Carmello Portale. She was a graduate of the Ishpeming High School. Rosemary worked at several locations throughout her lifetime, including as a dental assistant, a cashier at SuperOne in Marquette and as a secretary for Simmons Airlines, but preferred to be a homemaker. Rosemary will be remembered as an excellent cook and baker and her family and friends absolutely loved her lasagna, pasties, salads, and desserts. Rosemary's other passions were knitting, watching TV, and caring for her dogs.

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa (Greg) Hoffman of Belleville, IL, son, Michael (Debbie) Williams of Ishpeming, grandson, John Hoffman of Belleville, IL, brother, Carmello (Phyllis) Portale of Negaunee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Ward Williams on July 3, 2023.

Cremation has taken place. A private interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
