Obituary
Ishpeming- Rose Roberts, age 91 longtime Ishpeming resident passed away Tuesday October 27, 2015 at the Atrium Post Acute Care of Menominee where she has been residing since November 2007.
Rose was born June 1, 1924 in Ishpeming to Dominic & Catherine (Andriacchi) Carello. Rose was a graduate of the Ishpeming High School. She worked for the Ishpeming School District at the C.L. Phelps School as a lunchroom supervisor for many years.
Rose was a member of the Ishpeming V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She sang in the choir at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where she was a member for many years. Rose enjoyed gardening, knitting and crocheting.
Rose is survived by a daughter Judith A. (Peter) Bramschreiber of Menominee, MI, a son Terry M. (Kathy) Roberts of Ishpeming, grandchildren: Sara (Ed) Paul, Beth Roberts, Luke Roberts, step grandsons; Peter Jr.(Amy) & Paul (Laura Jo) Bramschreiber, great grandchildren: Regan & Connor Daley, step great grandsons: Kyle Bramschreiber & Nicholas Paul, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her husband Chuck Roberts, 2 brothers: Dominic & Rocco Carello, and 3 sisters Catherine St. Onge, Elizabeth Linna and Mary Pantti.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00PM Eastern Standard Time on Saturday October 31, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming with Fr. Dan Moll officiating. Interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
Rose's family will greet relatives and friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday from 11:00am Eastern Standard time until the time of service at 1:00pm.
A luncheon will be held in the church fellowship hall following the service.
