Obituary

Ishpeming- Rose Lucille Collick, age 99, life-long Ishpeming resident passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility.  She was in the loving care of family, staff at MCMCF, and U.P. Home Health and Hospice.

Rose was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on July 11, 1921, the eldest of 10 siblings of the late Bruno and Concetta (Tasson) Nardi.  She attended St. John's Catholic School as a child.

Rose worked at the H.W. Gossard Company in Ishpeming for many years, where she served as a union representative, also worked at Bell Hospital in the laundry department.

Rose was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Ladies Guild of St. Johns, Gossard Ladies Auxiliary, Paisano Club and volunteered at the Ishpeming V.F.W.

Rose is survived by 2 sons Clint (Susi) Collick of Ishpeming, and Bruce (Margaret Berman) Collick, of Lake Worth Beach, FL; daughter in law Barbara Collick of Ishpeming, a brother Francis C. Nardi of Ishpeming, 2 sisters: Nancy Hewitt and Theresa (Melvin) Leivo both of Palmer, 10 grandchildren: Tonya (Jeff) Nicholas, Kristal Talus, Gina Mathison, Steve Collick, Melonie Carlson, Bobby Jo Collick, Katie (Darrel) Steele, Keith Collick, Neal Collick, Leann Collick, along with numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, special friends, Cookie Holmgren, Michele Collick and Jean Watkins.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Bruno and Concetta Nardi, 2 children: Robert Collick and Francine Hill, granddaughter, Leslie Stephens, sisters: Delores Jones, Mary Ivey, Claire Guthrie, and Patricia Burkman, and brothers: Joseph and Bruno Nardi.

Due to the current restriction concerning COVID-19 a private prayer service will be held at Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home with Fr. Ryan Ford officiating.

Inurnment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
