Ishpeming- Ronald Grant Pierce, age 19 of 421 N. Main St. Ishpeming, entered eternal life on Saturday, October 11, 2008.

Ronald was born May 13, 1989 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He lived in Ann Arbor until 1999 when his family moved to Munising and they have lived in Ishpeming since 2004.
Ronald had a love for life and will be sadly missed by his family.

Ronald is survived by his father: Vincent (Angela Wesselman) Pierce of Ishpeming, his mother: Madonna (Jonathan) Watts of Gaylord, a twin brother James Anthony Pierce, a sister Abigail Pierce, both of Ishpeming, a sister Kissa Watts of Gaylord, his paternal grandmother Sharon Pierce of Milan, MI, his maternal grandparents Ronald and Ellen Parker of Gaylord along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Ronald was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Phillip Pierce.

The family would like to thank Tina Tefft and the staff at Highpoint School, Dale Harju and the staff of Pathways, Dr. Virginia Nelson and the staff of U of M Medical Center, Dr. Michael Nidiffer and the staff of MGH Specialty Clinic for all the care and support they provided for Ronald in his life and the staff of Bell Memorial Hospital and EMS for taking care of Ronald in his final hour.

A private funeral service will be held on Thursday at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming with Rob Kemp, pastor of the Old Fashion Baptist Church to officiate.
