Ely Twp - Ronald E. Olgren, age 60, of Ely Twp., passed away in his sleep on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at his home.

Ronald was born in Ishpeming on September 7, 1962, a son of Janet M. (Ahtonen) Olgren and the late Francis E. Olgren. He attended Westwood High School and grew up in North Lake.  Ron worked as an Auto Body Technician, starting at Tri-City Collision and then Dale's Auto Body along with other various locations.  Ron was always willing to help anyone who needed a hand with repairs, and it was often said if you wanted to find Ron, look in the garage as it was his life.

Ronald is  survived by a daughter, Joanna Lee Smail of Ishpeming, two sons - Nicholas Olgren of Atlanta, MI and Shaun (Jennifer) Robinson of Galva, IL, his mother Janet Olgren of North Lake Loc., grandchildren - Ally Smail, Ella Olgren, Nathan,  Loreyn and Brayden Robinson, two sisters - Linda (Terry) Michael of Springfield, MO and Gale (Mark) Henson of Ishpeming, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Francis Olgren and a nephew Joe Henson.

Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Ron's Life will be held at a later date.
