Humboldt Twp.- Ronald C. Nyback age 77, of 6200 Co. Rd. FW Champion, (Humboldt Twp.) passed away Wednesday March 25, 2020 at his residence.

Ronald was born in Negaunee, Michigan on January 19, 1943, a son of the late Ruth Lillian (Kotaniemi) and Eino John Nyback. Ron served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Ron worked as a production truck driver at Cleveland Cliffs Iron Company where he worked for 33 years, retiring in 1997 from the Empire Mine.  Ron enjoyed feeding and watching his birds at camp.

Ronald is survived by two sons, Troy (Shanna) Nyback, of Republic and Todd (Angela) Nyback, of Fond du lac, WI, 2 grandchildren, Harlei and Wyatt Nyback, a sister Mae Lamond of Republic, along with several niece and nephews.

Ronnie was preceded in death by brothers: Reino and Raymond Nyback, and sisters; Lorraine Rominiecki, Judith Mattson, Ruth Fischer, Lois Kayser, June Ahtonen, and Elaine Hartman.

A Celebration of Ronnie's life will be held at a later date.
