Negaunee – Ronald J. Beauchamp, age 80, longtime resident of 180 Sunset Dr., Negaunee passed away at the Teal Lake Assisted Living Facility in Negaunee where he had resided since Dec 23, 2015.

Ron was born June 6, 1935 in Marquette the son of the late Wilfred and Inez (Rose) Beauchamp. He was a graduate of the Bishop Braga High School in Marquette and a lifelong area resident. He married Yvonne A. Allgeyer in 1974 and together they had one son Brian. Ron had worked as a railroad conductor / engineer for the L.S. & I. Railroad for many years retiring in the mid 1990's. He was a member of the St. Paul's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife Yvonne Beauchamp of Negaunee, a son Brian Beauchamp of Clio, 2 brothers – Leon (Virginia) Beauchamp of Bayfield, WI and Steve (Christine) Beauchamp of Hot Springs, AR, sister – Mae (Jerry) Trotochaud of Bruce Crossing, 4 grandchildren – Samantha, Isaac, Joshua and Noah, along with several nieces and nephews.

A private service for Ron was held at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home.
