Ishpeming, MI- Roger Thomas Atherton, 72, Ishpeming resident passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

Roger was born in Marquette, Michigan on July 23, 1952, a son of the late Doris Cora (Howe) Verville and Gerald Eugene Atherton. He served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard from November 1971 until his honorable discharge October 1974. Roger worked as a Union Carpenter for many years.

Honoring Roger's wishes cremation will take place and there will be no public services.
