Ishpeming, MI- Roberta L. "Bobbie" Cardew, age 76, of 160 Excelsior St. Ishpeming, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Mission Point Nursing & Physical Rehabilitation Center of Ishpeming.

Roberta was born in Escanaba, Michigan on February 12, 1945, a daughter of the late Robert and Leona V. (Krouth) LaFave.

Roberta worked at Ralph's Deli and for the Ishpeming Public School District at the Phelps School serving lunch to the students.

Bobbie enjoyed playing Bingo, shopping, taking car rides, watching deer and birds in their back yard, and getting her hair done twice a week at Sherry's Beauty Boutique where she got caught up on all the local gossip.

Bobbie is survived by her husband of 59 years Lowell J. Cardew, two sons William "Bill" (Debra) Cardew, and Lowell D. (Judy) Cardew, two sisters; Jeannie Bridegroom and Leona "Tootsi" (Jim) Connors, two brothers, Clifford "Jack" (Kris) LaFave and Dale LaFave, 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Granddaughter, along with several nieces and nephews.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her Parents, a brother Robert LaFave, and brother-in-law Al Bridegroom.

Bobbie's family will greet relatives and friends from 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm on Monday, December 6, 2021, at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home where her funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm with Pastor Kevin McIlhany to officiate.

Burial will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.
