Robert "Pappy" Miller of Ishpeming, MI passed away at the age of 64 on Saturday, November 14, 2015 ending his battle with cancer.

Robert was born in Detroit, MI on September 23, 1951 to Joseph and Madeline Miller who preceded him in death. Robert was also preceded in death by his wife of 33 years Darlene Miller, his daughter Holly Marie Howard of Grand Rapids, MI and his brother Kenneth Miller of Detroit, MI.

He is survived by his sister Linda Miller of Detroit, brother Michael Miller of Detroit, son Timothy Miller and daughter in-law Renee Miller of St Petersburg, FL; son John Miller and daughter-in-law Angela of Grand Prairie, TX; daughter Tamera Morrison and son-in-law Tony Morrison of Ishpeming, MI; daughter Cindy Miller and son-in-law Jay Howard, six grandchildren: Samantha, Jennifer, Casey, Timothy, Nicolas, and Bryan also 6 great grandchildren. Lastly his beloved pet Sandy who was by his side till the very end.

Robert was loved by all who met him. He knew no stranger and made all welcome in his home. He was the first to lend a hand and the last one to leave when the job was done. Robert was loved most by his children, anyone can have a child and call themselves a "parent", but a real parent is someone who puts that child above their own selfish needs and wants. He was truly a Great Man.

Honoring Robert's wishes, cremation will take place, with a private memorial service to be held.
