New Port Richey, FL- Robert E. Homeier, age 90, former Ishpeming resident passed away March 10, 2018 in New Port Richey, FL. He was born December 8, 1927.

Bob was a US Army, World War II veteran. He was the former owner of Red Onion Pasty Shop in Negaunee.

Bob is survived by 2 children: Bradley (Debbie) Homeier of Norwood, MA and Becky Jo (Gary) Thibeault of Ishpeming, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty in 2009.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 17, 2018 at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in New Port Richey, FL. Interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
