Ishpeming – Robert "Bob" Francis Fosmoe, age 81, longtime Ishpeming resident, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Lighthouse at Ishpeming Health and Rehabilitation Center where he had resided since October of 2011.

Bob was born July 22, 1936 in Ishpeming the son of Bernice Fosmoe. He was raised in North Lake Location, and was a lifelong Ishpeming area resident. Bob worked for the City of Ishpeming for several years and then for Holli Forest Products as a piece cutter which was the job he truly loved as he could be in the outdoors. Bob enjoyed baseball in his youth and in more recent years watching professional sports, being a fan of the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings along with the Green Bay Packers.

Survivors include his children – Roberta (Keith) Ferrett and Daniel Rodda both of Ishpeming, brother David Fisk of State College, PA, grandchildren – Brittany, Keith Jr. and Matthew Ferrett, Gavin Fosmoe and Galena Rodda, great grandson Brayden Stagliano along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Robert Fosmoe Jr. in Dec of 2017.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 2 – 3PM on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00PM on Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lauri O. Maki to officiate. Interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
