Champion- Robert (Bob) Leroy Clark, age 62 of Champion, MI passed away unexpectedly on December 18, 2019.

Bob was born on July 7, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Paul and Phyllis (Schofield) Clark. He graduated from Troy High School in 1976. He married Marcy (Shanahan) October 29, 1982 in Warren, Michigan.

Bob began working for Ford Motor Company in various positions and spent the remaining part of his career at Romeo Engine Plant on the Special Vehicle Team working on Mustang Cobra engines. He retired from Ford in 2006 after 30 years of service.

Bob was always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed his help as long as the coffee pot never ran empty! Bob spent all of his time with his grandsons whether it was at sporting events or just playing outside. They were his pride and joy.

Bob is survived by wife Marcy , their three sons, Paul (Stephanie) Clark, Kyle (Rob) Johnson-Clark, Josh (Ana Chernick) Clark, and; their three grandsons, Joey Clark, Joshua Clark Jr. and Hunter Clark. His siblings, Todd (Paula) Clark and Bonnie (Dave) Earl, many nieces and nephews, adopted grandchildren and special friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul (Flappy) and Phyllis (Maude) Clark and many aunts and uncles.

Per Bob's request, there will be no service.  Family invites anyone who knew Bob to attend a Casual Luncheon Saturday, December 21 from 1-3 p.m. at the Bethel Lutheran Church, 333 E. Ridge Street, Ishpeming. Please come as you are.  Bob never wanted a fuss over him.
