Obituary

Negaunee- Robert "Bob" A. Morrison, age 68 of 132 Iroquois Dr. Negaunee passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday September 3, 2014 at his home.

Bob was born September 12, 1945 in East Orange, NJ to the late William & Stella (Nawoyski) Morrison. Bob served his country in the United State Air Force. He was an Avionics Instrument Technician in the Air Force where he served for 20 years. He received many decorations, medals and citations some which include the Meritorious Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, & the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. Bob also spent 20 plus years as an Avionics Instrument Technician with American Eagle. He also worked as a data graphics/ electronics technician in New York City.

Bob was a life member of the Negaunee V.F.W. Post 3165. He enjoyed watching John Wayne Movies, fishing, reading, was an excellent cook, loved animals and enjoyed playing with his granddaughter Talia.

Bob is survived by his wife Carmen (Paveglio) Morrison, whom he married on January 20, 1973, 2 children: Keri (Kirk Johnson) Morrison of Harvey, Todd Morrison of Goldsboro, NC,a granddaughter Talia Johnson, a brother Stephen Morrison of Syracuse, NY, 2 sisters Elizabeth (William) Brownlee of Budd Lake, NJ and Virginia Bicknell of Connecticut, brothers in law John Paveglio, James (Jan) Paveglio and Louis (Nancie) Paveglio, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by an infant son David Morrison, sisters in law Miriam & Donna Paveglio, brothers in law Carmelo (Judy) Paveglio and Christopher Bicknell.

Funeral services for Bob will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with Fr. Greg Heikkala officiating. Bob's family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday from 11:00am until the time of service.

Military honors will be accorded by the US Air Force Honor Guard.

Interment will take place in the Negaunee Cemetery.
