Ishpeming – Ricky L. Goldsworthy, age 54, a lifelong area resident, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

Ricky was born in Ishpeming on November 15, 1970, the son of the late Michael and Linda (Aho) Goldsworthy. He was a graduate of Westwood High School, Class of 1989. Following graduation, Ricky proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1991 until 1994.

He went on to work as a heavy equipment operator, spending 18 years with Lindberg's through the Operating Engineers Local 324, and an additional three years with Local 139.

Ricky was happiest when outdoors and on the move. He loved riding his Harley, dirt bikes, snowmobiles—anything with a motor and speed. He also enjoyed fishing, bird hunting, hiking, playing pool, throwing darts and especially spending time with his son Jack.

Ricky is survived by his son, Jack (Samantha Wiggins) Goldsworthy; his brother, Mick Goldsworthy; his sister, Tracy (Jeremy Herman) Willey; step-sister- Brenda (Peter Puska) Steve; five nephews, Walter and Duane Goldsworthy, Scott Jr., Derek, and Pookie Willey; a niece, Melinda Willey; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Linda.

Family and friends will be received at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
