Republic- Reino J. Nyback, age 71 of 208 Hemlock St. Republic, passed away Monday, August 11, 2008 at his home under the care of his family and U.P. Home Health & Hospice.

Reino was born July 18, 1937 in Republic to Eino & Ruth (Kotaniemi) Nyback. He graduated from Republic High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Reino enjoyed hunting & fishing, going to camp, taking saunas, spending time with family and friends and visiting casinos.

Reino is survived by 4 sisters: Joyce Elaine (Wayne) Hartman of Republic, June Ahtonen of Ishpeming, Lois Kayser of Marquette and Mae Lamond of Republic, 2 brothers: Raymond and Ronald Nyback both of Republic, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Reino was preceded in death by 4 sisters: Dorothy Nyback, Judy Mattson, Lorraine Rominiecki and Ruth Fischer.

A private family service will be held.
