Ishpeming – Randy S. Emanuelson Sr., age 74 of 6485 Co. Rd. PB passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at home while in the loving care of his family and UP Home Health and Hospice.

Randy was born in Ishpeming on February 9, 1942 to the late Clarence and Eva Emanuelson. He worked as a tire repairman fixing mine tires for 33 years with Goodyear and an additional 4 years with Northern Tire before retiring at the age of 62. He enjoyed 12 years of retirement. Randy enjoyed running the Ishpeming Horseshoe league, playing pool for the Wonder Bar, gardening, taking care of his rabbits, hunting, going to camp, country music, and watching as many Tigers games as he possibly could.

Randy is survived by his wife Judy (Jandreau) Emanuelson, 3 children- Ken (Karen) Emanuelson of Lombard, IL, Randy Emanuelson Jr. of National Mine, MI, William Emanuelson of Addison, IL, 3 siblings- Bonnie, Dennis, Bruce, 4 grandchildren- Mackenzie, Ryan, Matthew, Meghan, 1 great grandchild- Spencer, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He as preceded in death by his Parents, and 3 siblings- Terry, Sharon, and Donna.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home with Rev. Lauri O. Maki officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at 6:00 PM.

The family invites relatives and friends to gather at Congress Pizza after the service for a time of remembrance and to celebrate the life of Randy.
